Alex is a founder-led technology and payments entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience building, investing in, and scaling businesses across fintech, cryptocurrency, infrastructure, and cybersecurity. He founded COINPAYMENTS in 2013, one of the world's earliest and largest multi-asset cryptocurrency payment processors, enabling businesses globally to accept and manage digital assets at scale, and served as Chairman through much of the company's growth. An early cryptocurrency adopter since 2011, he came to the sector from Forex algorithmic trading, where he designed and deployed automated MT4 strategies, and his expertise lies in identifying emerging technologies early, translating them into commercially viable platforms, and building the operating, technical, and compliance foundations required to scale globally.
Alongside his work in payments, Alex is an active investor and advisor in cybersecurity. As Group CEO he sets COINPAYMENTS' long-term vision, with a focus on AI, digital payments, fintech, and advancing global adoption of decentralised financial technologies. He is also a public speaker on digital assets. His work reflects a consistent focus on long-term value creation through technology, disciplined execution, and the application of decentralised systems to real economic use cases.
